In case you weren't aware, The Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (CCRA) (formerly Revenue Canada) is launching a new 1-800 network with extended hours. Client service representatives will be available from 8:15 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. All times are local. Outside of these hours, an automated system will be available so callers can access business tax information using their touch-tone telephone keypad. This one-stop service also allows clients to get a Business Number (BN) and register for any of the four main programs: GST/HST; payroll deductions; corporate income tax; and import/export.
